Gaist Solutions Ltd is currently going through a period of significant growth, investment, and restructuring. This has created the requirement for a dedicated Project Manager to work within our Operations Department to assist the business in the successful delivery of survey projects to our increasingly diverse client portfolio, focusing on monthly safety inspections of highway networks. The position holder is required to take full ownership of the Safetyview project operations, line management of fleet operatives and productivity levels of the survey crews.

The role of the Safetyview Project Manager has been newly developed; therefore, the successful candidate will be required to work closely with the Operations Manager to regularly review the core responsibilities of the position and adapt to the changing needs of the business. An overview of the role is listed below;

Key objectives of role:
  1. Provide strategic and operational leadership of Gaist Solutions Safetyview fleet.
  2. Support the successful project delivery to the customer by working closely with the Operations Teams to ensure projects are delivered on time through effective work allocation and time management.
  3. Control and reduce operating costs through efficiency and continuous improvement strategies.
  4. Comply with fleet regulations whilst producing and updating policies and processes as required.
  5. Uploading and monitoring the imagery collected to the inspectors and ensure projects are delivered on time and to quality standards set.
Main responsibilities:
  1. Project Management of survey collection for start to finish of each network.
  2. Successful project delivery within strictly controlled KPIs and SLAs .
  3. Responsible for efficiency and productivity levels outlined by the client requirements.
  4. Hold and chair project meetings with clients on a regular basis.
  5. Adhere to schedules to ensure that the optimum number of vehicles are working at all times to meet Gaist Solutions Ltd customer needs.
  6. Work closely with the Fleet Manager in budget management of fleet repairs, on costs and administrative costs, recognizing the need of value for money in compliance with Financial Regulations.
  7. Produce and implement of policies and processes to ensure the fleet and its operatives operate effectively and efficiently.
  8. Act in a positive and constructive way to help develop and maintain the company brand.
  9. Take responsibility for own health, safety, and welfare and that of colleagues in the workplace.
  10. To take responsibility for demonstrating the aims of the company’s equality and diversity objectives.
  11. Adhere to IT security and Data Protection Legislation.
  12. Support line management in the development of the role.
  13. Understand, embrace and apply the departmental culture of continuous improvement, working closely with other departments on resolving issues.
  14. Provide awareness to peers and operators on fleet compliance issues.
  15. Any other tasks which are deemed reasonable to achieve the overall business objectives.
Key Requirements:
  1. Project management experience (highway safety inspections is desirable)
  2. Experience in implementing processes
  3. GIS software and route optimization experience
  4. Experience in client relations at management level
